South Burnett Regional Council CEO Mark Pitt PSM has been named as a finalist in the Outstanding Leadership Awards.
The awards are sponsored by LeadershipHQ, an organisation which runs some of Australia’s leading small business, corporate and government leadership programs.
Mr Pitt is one of eight finalists from across Australia in the Public Sector Leader category.
The finalists were announced on Monday.
The winners will be presented with their awards at a gala dinner on July 30 at the Sofitel Hotel in Brisbane.
“I’m extremely humbled but very proud of the achievement to be nominated for the Outstanding Leadership Awards for the Public Sector Leader category,” Mr Pitt said.
“Even more excited to be announced as a finalist.”
