Round 1 of the South Burnett soccer competition was played last Friday and Saturday nights at the Kingaroy soccer fields.
On Friday night, Kingaroy Wests Women and Nanango Panthers Women played a nil-all draw.
In the second game, Kingaroy Islanders swamped Kingaroy Wests 8-2.
On Saturday night, Barambah 3 defeated Kingaroy Easts 0.
This weekend, Nanango Women will play Kingaroy Easts Women at 6:15pm on Friday night, followed by Barambah taking on Kingaroy Wests in the men’s game at 7:45pm.
On Saturday night, Kingaroy Islanders will play Kingaroy Easts at 6:30pm.
