Wondai’s annual Autumn Garden Expo attracted large crowds at the weekend, with cars parked along both sides of the Bunya Highway and filling the Dingo Creek car parks.

Stalls stretched around the Wondai Sportsground Oval as well inside the Lions Pavilion.

On Saturday morning, the sportsground was bustling with visitors and the portable ATM was being kept busy.

The biannual Spring and Autumn Garden Expos are organised by a special committee but have strong support from the local community.

The Wondai Art Gallery hosts a special garden-themed art exhibition to coincide with the Autumn Expo, and the South Burnett Orchid Society and Wondai Garden Club always mount displays.
