Member for Flynn Ken O’Dowd has now officially retired.
In a message to constituents left on social media, the LNP MP said it had been “both a privilege and honour” to be their Federal representative since 2010.
“The 46th Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia has now dissolved and I have retired after four government terms,” Mr O’Dowd wrote.
“I am no longer the sitting Member for the electorate of Flynn.
“The Flynn electorate offices in Gladstone and Emerald will remain open and my former staff will be offering a limited service until the time the Election Polls are declared.
