A man and several dogs have drowned after a ute was caught in flash flooding on Monday morning at Kingsthorpe.
Police were called shortly before 5:00am to assist QFES swift water rescue crews at Brimblecombe Road after a report a vehicle with two occupants was in flood waters.
A woman was rescued and taken to hospital in a stable condition, however a man was located deceased in the ute.
A number of dogs also died.
Investigations are ongoing and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.

The Bureau of Meteorology issued a major flood warning for Myall Creek in Dalby on Monday morning.
Flooding at Dalby on Monday afternoon may exceed major flood levels overnight into Tuesday.
Showers and storms are likely on Monday afternoon which may cause renewed river level rises.
