A man will face multiple charges after an alleged incident in Kingaroy on Monday which forced police to close access to two blocks.
The man, who was arrested on Monday afternoon, is expected to be charged with serious assault, drugs offences and breaching a domestic violence order.
Several streets in Kingaroy were cordoned off by police on Monday morning after the alleged incident in a Doonkuna Street house.
The emergency declaration was made under the Public Safety Preservation Act.
This was later revoked about 3:45pm.
Police were called to the home at 6:45am and were in contact with a man who was alone inside the residence.
The PSPA was declared at 8:40am with the exclusion zone bordered by Moonya, Doonkuna, Haly and Fisher streets.
Members of the public were advised to avoid the area and those within the exclusion zone were asked to remain indoors until further notice.
