Aussie Land & Livestock yarded 1300 head at last Friday’s Special Store Sale at the Coolabunia Saleyards in very trying conditions.
Despite the imminent threat of heavy rain, the market remained firm to slightly dearer for all classes of cattle.
Aussie Land and Livestock principal James Bredhauer said he was very appreciative of the efforts vendors and truck drivers made on the day, as well as staff attending to penning, weighing, and dipping tasks.
Some of the sale’s highlights were runs of vendor bred cattle including Herefords from Gordonbrook, Charolais and Droughtmaster steers from Nanango, Brahman and Speckle Parks from Tingoora and a cracker run of Angus pregnancy-tested cows, cows and calves.
