A thief threatened an elderly couple with a knife after he was disturbed during a sneak break-in on Saturday night in Kingaroy.
The thief produced a knife when he was spotted by the Gladys Street residents.
He then demanded the couple’s car keys, phone and wallet.
Police investigations are continuing.

A 47-year-old woman was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a serious condition after suffering a medical episode behind the wheel on Tuesday afternoon.
Police on patrol about 2:00pm spotted the woman’s car swerving at low speed on River Road, just past the Stuart River Bridge outside Kingaroy.
They managed to stop the vehicle by pulling in front of it.
The officers quickly determined the woman required urgent medical attention and called for an ambulance.
They provided first aid at the scene until paramedics arrived.
