The New Year has started badly for an 56-year-old Imbil man pulled over by police in Wondai on January 5.
Police intercepted the man’s vehicle in Bramston Street about 8:00pm.
A police spokesperson said the vehicle was stopped due to the manner of driving.
The man allegedly blew 0.147 BAC when tested, almost three times over the legal limit.
He was issued with an immediate driving suspension and a notice to appear at Murgon Magistrates Court on February 1.
