Police have charged a man over an alleged break-and-enter at Tablelands last week.

Police will allege the 27-year-old Murgon man ransacked a home and broke into two sheds in Crownthorpe Road between 7:30am and 4:00pm on January 12, stealing a ride-on mower.

The man also allegedly damaged windows and the back door of the home.

He has been charged with burglary, wilful damage, enter premises and commit indictable offence.

He has also been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, drug possession and unlicensed driving in relation to other matters.

Mitchell McDonald was refused bail when he appeared in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Monday.

He was remanded in custody to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on March 1.
