South Burnett youngsters who took part in the Master Blasters junior cricket program had the opportunity recently to experience cricket at the top level.
The junior players from the Nanango and Kingaroy clubs were invited to attend the recent Ashes Test match at the Gabba in Brisbane.
Not only did they get the opportunity to walk out on to the hallowed turf in front of the big crowd, the young stars of the future also played a modified game on the outfield during the lunch break.
Kingaroy took to the field on Day 2, and Nanango on Day 3 of the Test.
