Three fire crews rushed to reports of a structure fire in Izzards Road at South Nanango on Tuesday evening, but fortunately their efforts were not required.
The call came in at 6:42pm but when firefighters arrived the small kitchen fire had already been extinguished.
A QFES spokesperson said the fire crews ventilated the building and took some readings to make sure the air was safe before leaving.
