A meltdown in an electrical switchboard alarmed homeowners in Tansey on Monday night.
Three fire crews were called about 7:45pm after reports of a structure fire in Planted Creek Road.
A QFES spokesperson said when they arrived, they found the flames had been extinguished but the switchboard had melted.
There was no damage to the house.
