The Yarraman Progress Association’s annual celebration of Spring, the Colours Of Yarraman, sprang into life on Saturday afternoon in Station Park.
Festival organisers encouraged visitors to relax in the shade of the long tents, have a leisurely drink and enjoy the live music on stage – this year presented by Kingaroy band Ryza.
The theme was the Madhatters Tea Party, so there were plenty of brightly decorated teapots on display as well as quite a few “mad” hats at the family fun day.
There were games and rides for the children to enjoy while their parents relaxed in the shade.
Yarraman’s famous line-dancing crew put on a performance, and also passed around a hat to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation.
A bike ride from Station Park to Harland Park was also on offer for anyone feeling more energetic than just lounging around to enjoy the free entertainment.
