A Speedwell woman has been sentenced to five years’ jail after pleading guilty to fraud in the Kingaroy District Court on Monday.
Judge Orazio Rinaudo ordered Amanda Magee to serve 14 months in prison after which the sentence will be suspended.
The court was told Magee tricked a finance company into supplying her with $328,372.
The Crown alleged Magee produced false bank statements and other documents to obtain the loan.
The money has since been repaid.
In March 2015, Magee (also known as Evans) was sentenced to nine months’ jail, fully suspended for two years, after pleading guilty to dishonestly obtaining property from the Wondai Community Kindergarten.
