Fire crews were called to reports of a house fire in Taylor Street East in Murgon early on Friday morning.
A QFES spokesperson said two crews responded at 6:10am.
They quickly extinguished a small fire in a ceiling.
The flames were out by 6:20am and they left the scene about half an hour later.
