Did you know there are currently 77 residents filling important volunteer roles with the South Burnett Regional Council?

They’re helping local residents and visitors at museums, libraries, art galleries and visitor information centres across the region.

A Council spokesperson said the volunteers make a positive and significant difference.

“Council recognises and appreciates everything they bring to their roles,” the spokesperson said.

But Council is always looking for more people to join the crew.

There are no qualifications required or age limits.

More information about volunteering for Council is available online or by phoning the People and Culture Team on 1300-789-279.
