A 27-year-old woman faces multiple charges after four police officers were allegedly assaulted in Kingaroy on Monday night.

Two of the officers now face the prospect of waiting for the results of blood tests after they were allegedly bitten by the woman.

About 8:45pm, police were called to a house in First Avenue where they allegedly found a 35-year-old man with facial and upper body injuries.

The woman, who is known to the man, was at the scene.

It will be alleged the woman assaulted the four police officers as they attempted to make inquiries.

She allegedly lashed out at police by kicking, punching, biting and spitting.

Two of the officers were taken to Kingaroy Hospital for treatment.

The woman has been charged with three counts of serious assault on police and one count each of assault police, obstruct police and wilful damage.

She was also charged in relation to the alleged domestic incident with wilful damage and assault (DV offence).

The woman was due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Tuesday afternoon.
