The Murgon Business and Development Association will be holding another of their “Business After Hours” evenings on Thursday night (May 20).
The get-together will be held in the newly refurbished function room at the Royal Hotel.
“This week we will have Shane Sippel coming along to bring us up-to-date with his future plans for his business in Murgon,” treasurer Lorraine Goodchild said.
“Also we are starting a ‘Getting to Know you’ segment where Matt Collins (from Crow FM) will have a short Q & A chat with one of our MBDA members or with a local business person at each meeting.
“We would really like to see more of our local business operators come along to these evening meetings.
“In the past, it has been mentioned to us that our breakfast meetings were discussing a lot of community projects etc and not enough ‘business’ and also that the breakfast meeting time wasn’t suiting some business people.
“So, we have commenced having these evening ‘Business After Hours’ events just for business operators.
“Non-MBDA members are also welcome to come along.
“It’s a great chance to network with your fellow businesses and share ideas for keeping business strong in our town and district.”
