“Ross’s leadership and ability to be ahead of the game has delivered some fantastic outcomes for the Western Downs and it has been an honour working alongside him throughout my term as Mayor,” Mayor McVeigh said.
“His capacity to lead a Council to be very financially sound, as well as his focus on building a strong work culture for our staff, have made a positive difference for the community.
“Ross and I have had a strong working relationship over the years, and I wish him all the best for his future endeavours.”
Mr Musgrove will remain in the role until August.
