Clovely Estate has announced they will close their Brisbane cellar door to increase the company’s focus on the South Burnett.

Clovely – one of Queensland’s largest wine producers – has operated a retail outlet at Red Hill for the past 15 years to promote their wine and olive products.

However, a lease on the property expired recently and Clovely will not be renewing it.

Instead, the company recently finished upgrades to their Moffatdale cellar door to include a servery for cold pantry items and a terrace.

The Vineyard Cellar Door is now open weekends and public holidays (excluding Christmas Day) between 10:00am and 4:00pm.

Clovely are also planning more upgrades to their historic Barambah Station property to “create a new food and wine destination for visitors and locals alike.”

The historic property – originally established in 1843 as one of the region’s first stations – features a homestead built in 1906 and a dining hall built in a converted stable.

In the past few years Barambah Station has hosted several successful wine dinners and community functions.

Clovely said they hoped to complete renovations to the Barambah Homestead Road property by summer.

In the meantime, the company will maintain stock in Brisbane for prompt delivery of customer orders, as well as their other cellar door outlets.

Clovely will also continue to offer overnight accommodation at four cottages located on their Moffatdale vineyards, and run an online ordering system through their website.
