Staff members at St Mary’s Catholic College in Kingaroy joined in the National Day Against Bullying and Violence on Friday, wearing special shirts designed to spark a conversation.
The “Be A Buddy Not A Bully” message was seen by everyone who entered the school as well as students.
The staff members thought the National Day was a perfect way to not only discuss the issue of bullying as well as celebrate the ways to treat each other positively.
The National Day Against Bullying and Violence website has resources for parents/carers/staff and students.
