A police car was rammed and a woman taken into custody after an incident at South Nanango on Thursday afternoon.
A police spokesperson said officers spotted a wanted person in a vehicle in Beitzel Road.
The driver then allegedly attempted to evade police.
The vehicle headed towards the D’Aguilar Highway, ramming a police vehicle, before turning off into a forestry area.
The police vehicle suffered minor damage in the incident.
Police from Yarraman and Nanango later located a second vehicle in Bochmann Road and took a woman into custody.
Kingaroy detectives are believed to be speaking the woman in relation to other matters.
No further information is available at this stage.
UPDATE March 19: Police are still looking for the driver of the Toyota Hilux which rammed the police vehicle. Investigations are continuing.
