BIEDO chair John Zahl has been appointed to the Regional Development Australia Wide Bay Burnett (RDA WBB) committee.
Mr Zahl is a former North Burnett councillor and was recently named Citizen of the Year at the 2021 North Burnett Australia Day awards.
RDA WBB chair Bill Trevor said he was delighted to welcome Mr Zahl to the regional economic development organisation.
“John has decades of experience in both the public and private sector, has local government experience and an impeccable record of community service,” Cr Trevor said.
“He is well-known and well regarded and boasts significant stakeholder engagement at individual, government and non-government level.”
