Aussie Land & Livestock yarded 1200 head on February 26 at Coolabunia for their Special Store Sale.
Cattle were drawn from the Brisbane Valley, Gayndah, Mundubbera, Murgon, Goomeri, Yarraman and local areas.
Top-quality cattle sold at strong rates, including 810c/kg for limousin steers from Kumbia.
Big runs of Herefords steers were at 481c. They topped at 518c and averaged 486c at 280kg and $1360.
Charbray steers from Upper Yarraman were 501c, weighing 262kg for $1311.
Limousin steers were to 512c from Yarraman, for average of 489c at 270kg for $1320. The same vendor sold 70 Limousin heifers as one run for 496c at 253kg for $1254.
Quality Angus steers were to 564c at 211kg for $1186. The same vendor sold Angus heifers for 521c average at 208kg for $1087.
Droughtmaster steers were to 550c at 190kg for $990.
Brahman steers from Gayndah averaged 455c at 203kg for $922.
Weaner heifers topped at 538c to average 465c.
A big run of limousin heifers averaged 496c.
A big run of Hereford heifers at 456c, averaged 340kg for $1094.
Angus heifers were 521c.
A Kumbia vendor sold a good run of Limflex Angus heifers for 476c at 250kg for $1189.
A big run of Droughtmaster heifers were 538c average at 190kg for $1021.
Santa heifers from South Nanango sold for 444c at 236kg for $1146.
Lighter condition Angus, Murray Grey and Brahman cows pregnancy tested in calf ranged from $1450 to $1900.
Cows and calves ranged from $1800 to $2275 to average $2160.
The market was softer for average to lower quality cattle
The next Aussie Land & Livestock Store Sale at Coolabunia will be held on Thursday, March 25, from 9:00am.
The first Aussie Land & Livestock weaner sale will be held from 9:00am on April 15 and will include information sessions and product displays.
