The Alford and Glendon Street roundabout in Kingaroy will be closed for 24 hours on Monday as part of the Kingaroy Transformation Project (KTP).
A South Burnett Regional Council spokesperson said that as well, a single lane will be closed on the southern side of Alford Street, between the Glendon and Kingaroy Street intersections.
This closure will be in place until Sunday, March 7.
The closures will allow for critical water main replacement works.
Pedestrian access will remain open at all times.
“During the construction period, Council strongly encourages the community to support those businesses impacted by the works,” the spokesperson said.
“Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extreme care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.”
