Two teenagers allegedly involved in the armed robbery of an elderly Orana resident on February 8 have been arrested at Cushnie.

A 19-year-old Cushnie man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on March 29 charged with armed robbery, burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He has been remanded in custody.

A 16-year-old Cushnie boy has been dealt with under the Youth Justice Act for unlawful use of a motor vehicle, armed robbery, burglary and unlicensed driving.

The stolen vehicle was recovered on Home Creek Loop Road at Cushnie on Wednesday.

Police will allege the pair threatened the 79-year-old woman with a knife before stealing her Honda CR-V after bursting into her independent living unit.
