Police have charged a 15-year-old boy after an alleged incident at a home in Murgon on Saturday.
It will be alleged the boy entered the yard of a woman, alerted her to his presence and then performed an indecent act.
Police doorknocked the neighbourhood in a bid to identify the boy.
On Sunday, police arrested and charged a 15-year-old who will now face Murgon Children’s Court.
Sergeant Alan Gerrard said the assistance within the community was outstanding.
“The collaboration between Queensland Police Service and involved community members has led to swift identification and arrest of the person involved,” Sgt Gerrard said.
