South Burnett community groups will receive more than $437,000 in funding from the latest round of the State Government’s Gambling Community Benefit Fund grants.
Attorney-General Shannon Fentiman announced the successful recipients from Round 106 on Friday.
The grants are used to assist not-for-profit community groups provide services, host events and upgrade equipment and facilities that benefit their local communities.
South Burnett groups to benefit from the latest round include the Kingaroy Touch Association, the Murgon RSL Sub-Branch, Nanango Show Society, Taromeo Rural Fire Brigade and the Wondai Country Club.
Applications for Round 108 of the program will close on February 28.
