A man has been flown to Bundaberg Hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Mundubbera-Durong Road at Derri Derra on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the incident at 2:36pm.

The road was closed to allow an RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter to land nearby just after 3:00pm.

A LifeFlight spokesperson said it was believed the man, aged in his 40s, lost control of his vehicle which then rolled several times.

He was able to free himself from the vehicle, before emergency services arrived on scene.

He was treated for multiple injuries including fractures, before being airlifted in a stable condition.

Two people were airlifted to hospital after separate incidents at the Manar Park motocross track, near Boondooma, on Monday.

The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight helicopter flew the first person out on Monday afternoon.

A few hours later, about 7:20pm, RACQ LifeFlight’s Toowoomba helicopter was called to the track after a rider was injured.

It is believed the man, aged in his 30s, was attempting a jump just before 7:00pm when it all went wrong.

The LifeFlight crew worked with QAS paramedics at the scene to treat the man for suspected head and chest injuries and multiple fractures.

He was then flown in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital under the care of a LifeFlight critical care doctor and QAS flight paramedic.
