A motorbike rider was airlifted to hospital after colliding with a kangaroo near Nanango on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of the D’Aguilar Highway and Nanango-Tarong Road at 11:11am.
Paramedics assessed the rider at the scene before transporting the patient to Nanango Hospital with chest, abdominal and hip injuries.
A rescue helicopter then airlifted the rider to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
