Police investigations into an alleged shooting at Proston are continuing.

A police spokesperson confirmed on Friday that a man was assisting police with their inquiries but no formal charges have been laid.

A 23-year-old man was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg by an RACQ LifeFlight rescue helicopter on November 20.

He was reported at the time to be in a serious but stable condition.

Police were called to the property in Susan Crescent about 6:15pm that evening after reports a man had been shot in the leg.
