Fire crews were in action at two blazes in the South Burnett on Thursday.
The first, near Noora Road north-east of Yarraman, broke out about 6:30pm on Wednesday in an area difficult to access.
Rural fire crews worked on Wednesday night and returned to the site on Thursday morning.
At 3:00pm, there were five units at the incident with firefighters working to contain the blaze with the help of heavy earthmoving equipment.
There was no threat to property.
Firefighters were called to the second blaze, near Pedersens Road at Dangore, about 1:15pm on Thursday.
At 3:00pm, there were seven rural units on scene.
The fire was burning on a 500m front but a QFES spokesperson said there was no threat to property.
At 4:30pm, a QFES spokesperson said the fire was producing a lot of smoke and motorists in the area should drive with caution.
