Yarraman and Cooyar residents will have a last chance this week to have their say about Toowoomba Regional Council’s 2021 Waste Management Strategy.
Residents can provide feedback through the TRC’s Your Say website until 5:00pm on Friday (November 6).
“The survey gives us all the opportunity to make sure our waste management strategy and recycling plan is heading in the right direction,” Cr Nancy Sommerfield said.
“You can have your say on things like how we collect waste, how we recycle and, of course, green waste management.
“Council’s focus is on turning waste into a resource rather than disposing it to landfill.
“Do you have innovative ideas about how our households and businesses can reduce waste to landfill and recycle more? The survey allows you to tell us about it.
“As a community, we want to make sure that our waste becomes a resource rather than something that goes into landfill.”
