Kingaroy Library staff Chloe Patch, Christi Thomas and librarian Judy Nickless were getting into the Halloween spirit on Saturday morning

November 2, 2020

If the threat of more storms – and the State Election – weren’t scary enough on Saturday, it was also Halloween.

Kingaroy Library hosted a “Spooky Saturday” for its young readers on Saturday morning.

There were special activities and a scavenger hunt with about 50 children – many dressed to kill (!) – dropping in between 9:00am and noon.

The little “monsters” also enjoyed earning some treats!

“Spooky Saturday” followed special activities in Kingaroy for “Freaky Friday”, which also took place at Blackbutt, Murgon, Nanango and Wondai libraries.

The Barton family, from Kingaroy, enjoyed some Spooky Saturday fun at Kingaroy Library … from left, Portia, 9; mum Jeanna; Annelise, 11; and Sharaya, 5
