Barely a week after being named a Queensland #eatqld Champion, award-winning winemaker Clovely Estate has put a large slice of its business on the market.

It is offering 87.63ha of its Moffatdale properties for sale, including 59.47ha of developed vines and 23 acres of improved cattle grazing pastures, along with two stock dams.

The property’s vines include Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet, Semillion, Saperari and Chardonnay plantings.

The vines are supported with a water allocation from nearby Barambah Creek and an automated vineyard irrigation system.

The company’s Clovely Estate Cellar Door and a five-bedroom Queenslander nearby – currently used as a bed and breakfast – are also included in the package, along with a large lockable zincalume machinery and workshop shed, an old slated timber shed and timber cattle yards.

The company’s Murgon winery and cellar door at Red Hill in Brisbane are not included in the package.

Clovely Estate was established in 1997 and is one of the South Burnett’s pioneering wineries, as well as one of the largest vineyards in Queensland.

Its wines have won many State and national awards over the past two decades.

The property is being marketed by Belle Property
