Fire crews have contained a grassfire burning near the intersection of Haly Creek Road and Flagstone Creek Road at Haly Creek.
A QFES spokesperson said the fire broke out about 2:45pm on Tuesday.
Smoke from the fire affected Ellesmere Road, Haly Creek Road and Flagstone Creek Road
At 5:50pm, there were still five units at the scene.
“Crews will remain on scene into the night to strengthen containment lines,” the spokesperson said.
“This grass fire is posing no threat to property at this time. Smoke will linger overnight and into the morning.”
