Pools Reopen After Winter

South Burnett swimming pools that were closed over winter will be re-opening on Saturday, just in time for school holiday fun.

However, due to current health directives, some COVID-19 restrictions are in place.

A South Burnett Regional Council spokesperson said these restrictions would be monitored and enforced.

“Our pool managers appreciate your assistance in abiding by these new rules,” the spokesperson said.

Maximum number of 150 people, including staff, allowed entry at any one time
Maximum of 10 people allowed in the change rooms at any one time
All customers must supply their name, address and phone number to gain entry to the facility
Social distancing rules of 1.5m apply
Opening hours: Weekdays 6:00am to 6:00pm; school holidays 9:00am to 5:00pm; Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm; Sunday and public holidays 10:00am to 5:00pm; closed Christmas Day and Good Friday
