Murgon detectives have charged a man with drug offences following the alleged discovery of methamphetamine at a Murgon address.
About 11:00am on Tuesday, a search warrant was executed where detectives allegedly located a quantity of methamphetamine, a restricted drug and other drug paraphernalia.
A 42-year-old Murgon man has been charged with two counts of possessing a dangerous drug and one count of possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with a drug offence.
He will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on October 13.
Officer-in-charge of Murgon Police, Acting Senior Sergeant Alan Gerrard, encouraged members of the community to anonymously report drug crimes via CrimeStoppers on 1800-333-000.
He described the latest arrest as “a great result for the Murgon community”.
