Police have located a stolen vehicle taken after a break-in at a unit in Gladys Street, Kingaroy, this week.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant David Tierney, said the thieves entered the unit via a rear glass sliding door that was closed and locked at some time between 10:00pm on Wednesday and 5:30am on Thursday.

They stole property including car keys from the counter.

They then left via the sliding door and went around to the front of the unit where they drove off in a car parked in front of the garage.

The vehicle was recovered undamaged at 5:00pm off Murray Road at Cherbourg.

Investigations are continuing.
