A 29-year-old Kingaroy man will face a number of charges after police allegedly found him in possession of a stun gun in Haly Street, Kingaroy.
Police spoke to the man at 10:30am on Sunday.
They allegedly located the weapon, a quantity of amphetamine and drug utensils.
He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 31 charged with possessing a dangerous drug, property used in the commission of a drug offence, possessing a drug utensil and unlawful possession of a Category R weapon.

Property
- Police are investigating the break and enter of house in Haly Street, Kingaroy. Entry was gained at some time between August 7-21 by smashing through a rear door. Property stolen included a television and assorted tools. Anyone with information is urged to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800-333-000.
- Police are investigating the theft of tools from a construction site in Youngman Street, Kingaroy. Thieves entered a shipping container at the site on the weekend. Investigations are continuing.

Drugs
- A 34-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 7 charged with possessing drugs and drug utensils after police searched an address in Alford Street, Kingaroy, at 10:40am on August 18. They allegedly located drug utensils and a small quantity of cannabis.
- At 8:00pm on August 18, police attended a Lara Court residence in Kingaroy in relation to another matter. While there, they allegedly found a 27-year-old Kingaroy woman in possession of drug utensils. She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 7.
- At 9:50pm on August 18, police were called to a disturbance at a Marquis Street address in Memerambi. Police located a 23-year-old Kingaroy man who had allegedly caused damage at the residence. He also allegedly had a small amount of cannabis and drug utensils. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 14 charged with wilful damage and possession of drugs and drug utensils.
- A 44-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 14 charged with the possession of a dangerous drug and drug utensils after police searched a residence in First Avenue, Kingaroy, about 3:15pm on August 19. Police allegedly located amphetamine and drug utensils.
- At 8:15pm on August 19, police intercepted a Suzuki SUV in Avoca Street, Kingaroy. The driver, a 25-year-old Kingaroy man, was allegedly found in possession of a small amount of amphetamine. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 7.
- A 36-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 14 charged with drug possession after police searched a house in Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 7:05pm on Saturday. They allegedly located two ecstasy tablets.
- Police had cause to speak to a 42-year-old Kingaroy woman in Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 8:15am on Sunday. She was was allegedly found in possession of a small amount on methylamphetamine. She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 31.

Traffic
- A 70-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 21 charged with failing to supply a specimen of breath after police stopped a Nissan sedan in Alford Street at 2:20pm on August 20. The woman allegedly provided a positive result at a roadside test (0.14 BAC). She was then taken to Kingaroy station for a second test but allegedly refused to provide a further sample when required.
- A 22-year-old Booie man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 21 charged with unlicensed driving after police pulled over his Ford sedan in Redmans Road, Kingaroy, at 3:10pm on August 20. The man’s international driver’s licence was allegedly demerit point suspended.
- A 31-year-old Ellesmere man was issued with a $427 fine and his Chrysler sedan immobilised for 90 days after police allegedly spotted his vehicle sliding when it exited a business in Rogers Drive, Kingaroy, at 2:30pm on August 21. The infringement notice was for wilfully making unnecessary noise or smoke.
- A 22-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 14 charged with unlicensed driving after police stopped a Holden sedan in King Street, Kingaroy, at 10:20pm on August 22.

Kingaroy police responded to a variety of incidents between August 17-23 including drug, property and traffic offences. They also attended six domestic violence-related incidents and issued 77 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences.
