A 30-year-old Stalworth truck driver has been charged with obstructing police after he was pulled over by the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit on the Bunya Highway on Sunday at Kumbia.
Police will allege the man at first agreed to a roadside drug test, which returned a positive result.
However, when he was required to provide a second sample, he allegedly refused to do so.
He has been charged with failing to provide a specimen of saliva as well as obstructing police.
He is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 21.
His licence was also immediately suspended until the court date.

A 23-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 12 charged with drug driving after she was stopped by police in Haly Street, Kingaroy, on Friday afternoon.

A driver pulled over near the Kingaroy Police Station, on Thursday has allegedly tested positive to drugs at a roadside test. The 31-year-old Kingaroy man will face a drug-driving charge in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 21.

QAS has transported a patient to Gayndah Hospital in a stable condition after a single-vehicle crash on the Burnett Highway on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to the incident, between Ban Ban Springs and Gayndah, about 8:00am.

A woman was taken to Toowoomba Hospital after a car rolled on Oakey-Cooyar Road at Nutgrove, near Cooyar, about 8:50am on Sunday.
A QAS spokesperson said the woman was in a stable condition.
