A 33-year-old Kingaroy woman has been charged with assault, wilful damage and public nuisance after she allegedly threw a keyboard at an employee of a Kingaroy business.

Kingaroy police were called to a disturbance at the business about 1:15pm on August 12.

They will allege the woman abused staff members, threw the keyboard and tossed an EFTPOS machine at a wall.

A 16-year-old Kingaroy boy and a 15-year-old Memerambi girl have been charged with unlawful entry of a vehicle and assault after police received a complaint from a truck driver. 

The man told police he had stopped on Kingaroy-Cooyar Road when people entered his truck and assaulted him.

The teenagers will appear in the Kingaroy Children’s Court at a later date.

Police are investigating the theft of four bench seats from underneath the old Goodger School building at Goodger.

The bench seats were last seen on May 13.

Investigations are continuing. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

A 20-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 7 charged with possessing and supplying a dangerous drug after police stopped a Ford sedan in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, about 2:30pm on August 10.

Police allegedly located a small quantity of cannabis in the woman’s possession.

No one was injured when a 4WD mounted the footpath at low speed and struck a wall next to a shop in Haly Street, Kingaroy, about 11:15am on Tuesday.

Paramedics assessed the vehicle’s occupants at the scene.

The vehicle’s bullbar was badly damaged.

  • A 29-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 7 charged with driving while unlicensed, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and displaying false plates after police spotted a Holden sedan in Jarrah Street, Kingaroy, about 11:30am on August 12.
  • A 28-year-old Hodgleigh woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 21 charged with unlicensed driving after police stopped a Nissan sedan in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, about 10:10am on August 13. The vehicle was also impounded
  • A 23-year-old Moffatdale woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 14 charged with unlicensed driving after police stopped a Toyota sedan in Youngman Street, Kingaroy, at 3:40pm on August 16.

Kingaroy police responded to a variety of incidents between August 10-16 including drug, property and traffic offences. They also attended 10 domestic violence incidents and issued 21 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences.
