A 49-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged after police allegedly located a small hydroponic set-up and cannabis during a search.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney said police executed a search warrant at the Murray Parade address about 7:00am on Tuesday (July 21).

They allegedly located the hydroponic set-up with three small cannabis plants growing in it as well as drug utensils.

The man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on September 7  charged with producing a dangerous drug and possessing drug utensils.

A 28-year-old Crawford man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on  August 31 charged with possessing drugs and drug utensils after police searched a residence at Crawford on Monday afternoon (July 20). They allegedly located  a small quantity of cannabis and drug utensils.

A 26-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with driving while disqualified and driving an unroadworthy vehicle after police stopped a Holden sedan on Fisher Street, Kingaroy, at 11:15am on Wednesday (July 22).  The man’s vehicle has also been immobilised for seven days.
