Kingaroy Police – in conjunction with Bill Hull Car Centre – have scheduled another one of their popular “Under The Bonnet” sessions for drivers.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney, encouraged everyone – men and women – to come along.

“Come and join us for an informal and social night where we talk about some important tips on personal safety and road safety,” he said.

“This is also a chance to get your hands dirty learning some simple vehicle maintenance skills.

“And best of all, the event is free – including refreshments.”

The “Under The Bonnet” night will be held from 5:30pm on August 18 at the Bill Hull Car Centre, on the corner of Kingaroy and Avoca streets, Kingaroy.

“Be sure to book soon as spaces are limited and are filling up fast,” Snr Sgt Tierney said.
