Five people have been charged with a number of cannabis-related offences after police searched four houses in Kingaroy this week.
On Monday, police executed a search warrant at an address in Frangipani Drive at 11:30am.
A 30-year-old Kingaroy woman was allegedly found in possession of a small quantity of cannabis and drug utensils. She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 3.
On Tuesday, police searched a house in Tuite Street at 12:35pm. A 31-year-old Kingaroy man and a 40-year-old Kingaroy man were allegedly found with a small quantity of cannabis and drug utensils. Both will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court – the 40-year-old on July 27 and the 31-year-old on August 3.
At 2:20pm on Tuesday, police executed a search warrant at an address in Haly Street. A 25-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on August 17 charged with possessing drugs (cannabis) and drug utensils.
On Wednesday, police executed a search warrant at an address in Windsor Circle at 12:15pm. The resident, a 27-year-old Kingaroy woman, was allegedly found in possession of a small quantity of cannabis and drug utensils. She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 27.

A 19-year-old Kingaroy man will face Kingaroy Magistrates Court on a string of traffic charges after police pulled over his Holden Commodore in Somerset Street, Kingaroy, at 9:15am on Wednesday.
Police will allege the man had never held a driver’s licence, the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured, and it was bearing false number plates.
He is due to appear on July 27.
The vehicle was also immobilised for seven days.
