Nanango and Yarraman RSL sub-branches will receive funding from the Federal Government to install new displays.
Federal Member for Maranoa David Littleproud said the Nanango Sub-Branch would receive $5069 to install a display cabinet in Tara’s Hall to present military artefacts.
Yarraman Sub-Branch will receive $2915 to install images on windows in the Yarraman Memorial Hall.
Mr Littleproud said the displays would be a moving tribute to the servicemen and women who have made great sacrifices for the nation.
The grants are from the Community Commemorative Grants category of the Federal Government’s “Saluting Their Service” program.
