Seven people have been charged with a total of about 12 offences during Operation Checkerband in Cherbourg at the weekend.
Police from the Ipswich Tactical Crime Squad along with local officers from Murgon seized a quantity of alcohol during the two-day crackdown.
A 27-year-old Cherbourg woman was charged with possessing liquor in a restricted place and drink-driving.
A 43-year-old Cherbourg woman was also charged with possession of liquor in a restricted place.
Both are due to appear at Murgon Magistrates Court on July 14.
A police spokesperson said the operation was launched after information was received to suggest Cherbourg residents had allegedly breached the town’s Alcohol Management Plan by transporting restricted liquor into the zoned area.
