A 37-year-old Goomeri man has been charged with animal neglect after RSPCA investigators visited a home in Goomeri earlier this week.
Police and an RSPCA officer visited the home in McGregor Street on Wednesday after receiving community reports of animals living in poor conditions.
Officers observed multiple dogs living in a confined space, allegedly with little room to move around and no access to water.
Police, on advice from an RSPCA Inspector, charged the man for breaching duty of care under the Animal Care and Protection Act.
He will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on September 8.
