The Rotary Club of Kingaroy has put the call out to local photographers to submit entries for the club’s annual photo competition.
The competition is usually run in conjunction with the Kingaroy Show, but with the show cancelled this year due to the pandemic, this didn’t happen.
The club gathers together photos which will be used in their popular, annual calendar – a major fundraiser for Kingaroy Rotary.
Photographers who submit entries this year will be in the running to win cash prizes: 1st $65, 2nd $50, 3rd $40, 4th $25, 5th $15 and 6th-24th $5.
The A4 landscape image must depict aspects of any locally grown produce in the South Burnett.
But this year the entries must also include a recipe – linked to the photo – printed on top of the image.
This will challenge the photographer’s creativity!
Entries must be submitted to Rotary before July 20.
